Parenting Matters: The Nine Practices of The Proactive Parent
The goal of parenting is not merely surviving, but thriving. Parenting Matters is an intensely practical ten-week course designed to give you the tools necessary to parent effectively and proactively. Each lesson builds upon the foundational truths found in the Word of God regarding the nurturing of character healthy children. Lessons include both the Biblical theory of parenting and practical application adaptable to different families and family situations.
Together we will learn the nine practices necessary for proactive parenting in today’s permissive world. Lessons include the importance of modeling proactive behavior, elevating virtues above feelings, building moral muscle, stocking the shelves in your child’s moral mart, the responsibility tree, and much much more.
Our goal is not simply well behaved, outwardly compliant children, but rather a generation of character healthy leaders prepared to impact their world for Christ. Parenting Matters will provide you the confidence to make wise and thoughtful parenting decisions without being blown and tossed by worldly and destructive philosophies.
